From 31 March to 3 April, the China Clean Expo (CCE) 2025 transformed the Shanghai New International Expo Centre into the beating heart of the global cleaning world. Organised by Sinoexpo Informa Markets with the powerhouse support of ISSA – the worldwide cleaning industry association – this year’s show didn’t just make waves, it made history.

Taking over three massive exhibition halls, CCE 2025 gathered nearly 500 top-tier exhibitors from every corner of the globe. Industry giants and trailblazing newcomers alike – including names like Nilfisk, Rubbermaid, Interpump, Tennant, 3M, Gausium, Viggo, KEENON, and more – unveiled the future of clean through breakthrough technologies and planet-friendly solutions. Thousands of professional buyers flooded the venue, eager to tap into the freshest innovations shaping hygiene, sustainability, and facility management.
“CCE isn’t just a trade show, it’s a catalyst for change,” CCE and HSOP Director Helen Du says. “We’re here to spotlight innovation, foster global collaboration and redefine what’s possible in built environment care. As a cornerstone of HSOP 2025 – China’s premier expo for hospitality, commercial, and public spaces – CCE benefited from an electric cross-industry audience. The HSOP platform spanned a jaw-dropping 210,000 square metres, featuring more than 2,000 international exhibitors and drawing a record-breaking 134,953 professional visits. Even more impressive? A surge of global engagement, with visitors from 124 countries and regions, a 26 percent jump from last year.
“It was an honour to be part of the International body representing ISSA at CCE, as we addressed developments and trends taking place across various global markets,” ISSA Oceania and Asia Pacific manager Lauren Micallef says. “Throughout the event there was a real buzz across the expo show floor as well as within the seminar sessions. It was great to see the enthusiasm and drive surrounding core themes from innovation and technology to sustainability and cleaner, healthier built environments. ”

Highlights included the ISSA Seminar, the Shanghai Urban Environmental Sanitation Summit and the gripping Shanghai Cleaning Skills Competition, each session delivering fresh perspectives, strategic insights and practical innovations ready to be put into action.
The ISSA Seminar stole the spotlight with an elite lineup of speakers, including Lauren Micallef, Danni Lee, Toni D’Andrea and Jade Liao.
