With over 200 architectural and design studios, showrooms, and workshops, the Clerkenwell area of central London has become a key creative hub. Celebrating its 8th edition from May 23-27, 2017, Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) is showing a vast assortment of new products from the U.K. across seven main exhibition spaces.

Arper and Pentagon Tiles were among the 90 participants of the Showrooms section. Dedicated to international contemporary design, Design Fields presented a?new collection by Doshi Levien for John Lewis, the monolithic installation Nature’s Wall by MOSSwall, outdoor furnishings and décor by Italian company Ethimo, and new chair collections by Spain-based?Ondarreta.

Hosting over 20 leading manufacturers such as Knightsbridge Furniture and Sixteen3, Project was the destination for contract design. British Collection–focused on British designers–showcased furniture and lighting by James Burleigh, John Green Designs, and?Lozi, among others. Additions presented tabletop accessories including the new Domestic Collectables collection by Grace Souky Design, a new range of cushions by Emma J Shipley, and illustrated prints by Claudine O’Sullivan.

For luxury interiors, Detail included prestigious names in the industry such as Poliform with the launch of the Mondrian collection by Jean-Marie Massaud. Finally Platform displayed a curated collection of emerging and cutting edge pieces by LEGO artist David Hughes, Design Bros, Solid Soul Design and new company 84 Designs.
