After the proposal of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region's co-development, the environmental protection industry is speeding up to gather in Heibei. On Feb. 17, it is reported that the largest automatic water paint production line in Asia was officially settled down in Baoding, Heibei, China. Compare with oil paint, the production and use of 1 kilo water paint contribute to a 0.8 kilos decrease in VOC emissions. The production line will reduce 1.10 million VOC emissions every year after it goes into production.
On the afternoon of 17th, the launch ceremony of the largest automatic water paint production line in Asia was held at Boye County water paint industrial park in Baoding. Boye County is located in the central of Heibei, where energy-intensive and highly polluting oil paint industry and chemicals was entirely the pillar industries to an extent that their ratal at highest could account for over 50% in the total fiscal revenue for the county. But with the tougher enforcement of China's existing environmental regulations, the Boye oil pant industry has shrunk overall and has to seek for upgrading transformation.
