Shanghai Hecaray Technology Co., Ltd., incubated by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, focuses on the research and production of mmwave radar products for indoor life scenarios, and is committed to protecting people’s healthy life in a contactless and comfortable way. Hecaray was founded by Changzhan Gu, a doctoral supervisor and professor at SJTU. Professor Gu and his team have published more than 130 papers in the field of bio-radar and have more than 30 patents. Professor Gu himself was the former R&D leader of Google’s millimeter wave gesture radar project. He participated in the development of the world’s first consumer mmwave radar chip and the world’s first consumer hardware product integrating mmwave radar. Relying on SJTU, Hecaray teamed up with the top hospitals to address the monitoringneeds from doctors and patients. The company's products are used in scenarios such as apnea syndrome, neonatal intermittent hypoxia, cardiopulmonary chronic diseases,and sleep monitoring. The products were clinically validated with excellent feedback. Hecaray has released multiple products such as sleep monitors, vital signs monitors, fall alarms, and trajectory sensors, and has cooperated with leading technology companies and senior care industry companies such as Huawei, China Pacific Insurance, Fortune Care, and Hikvision. Products have been sold to more than 20 countries and regions at home and abroad.
